Presentation of Queen's Jubilee Medals
Epilepsy Ontario is excited to announce the presentation of three Commemorative Medals for the Golden Jubilee of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II. M. Denise Crepin, of Epilepsy Canada, presented the three medals to Dr. Joseph Bruni, Dr. McIntyre Burnham, and Mr. Stephen Emmons on Tuesday, January 14, 2002 at 1:30pm at the Epilepsy Ontario offices.
Dr. Bruni is a neurologist who consistently makes himself available to speak at a number of local chapters, Dr. Burnham is the current president of Epilepsy Ontario and a professor of pharmacology at the University of Toronto and the head of the Bloorview Epilepsy Program, and Mr. Emmons is a member of the executive committee of Epilepsy Ontario as the past president, and is also the past president of Epilepsy Toronto and Epilepsy Durham.
All three recipients were recognized for their consistent and outstanding dedication to Epilepsy Ontario and the community at large.
The Commemorative Medals for the Golden Jubilee of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II were created to honor the fiftieth anniversary of her reign and are being awarded to Canadians who have made a significant contribution to Canada, or its citizens.
Our congratulations go out to all three deserving recipients.
