Golf "Fore" Epilepsy
Thanks To All Supporters of our
2008 Golf Tournament Over $5,800 raised
On Sunday June 22nd, Epilepsy Peterborough/Epilepsy Lindsay held it's annual golf tournament in support of education and support services in the greater Peterborough Area. Over $5,800 will be used to support our Kid's On The Block School Awareness Program as well as other parent and child support programs in our coverage area. Again this year we could not have had our success without the generosity of the people and businesses listed below.

In 1986, a group of concerned parents formed a board of directors opened an office, with the assistance of Epilepsy Ontario and the Trillium Foundation, to provide services and education for people in the greater Peterborough area. Seventeen years later, staff and office volunteers are still fulfilling the original mandate.
Services provided are:
- Educational videos, pamphlets and books
- Lay-counseling, adult and children's support programs
- School and workplace education / first aid presentations
- Quarterly newsletter, membership privileges
- Kids on the Block performances / agency referrals
Epilepsy Peterborough is a volunteer driven organization which relies on community fund-raising and private donations, servicing Peterborough, Victoria and Northumberland counties.
