Happy Laughternoons!
Wednesday afternoons from 2:00 to 4:00 pm

Come join us for some fun, laughter and fellowship on Wednesday afternoons from 2 – 4 pm.  This is Epilepsy Niagara's peer drop in in Niagara Falls.  We are looking at ways to make this drop in time fun and encouraging for you.  What would you like to share? Perhaps a game, a craft, a joke, a question or concern … Let us know what you would like to see happening on Wednesday afternoons.  For more information contact support@epilepsyniagara.org or 905-353-1096.

Peer to Peer Support Program

People of all ages want to help each other, yet often don't know how to do this. Peer helping is simply helping other people. When people experience frustrations, worries, concerns, and other life events, they typically turn to their friends, or peers, not professionals, for help, advice, practical assistance and support.

Peer Support Volunteers are provided with comprehensive training and supervision and will be matched with someone based on their personal experiences with epilepsy. Peers may communicate by telephone, or internet, as often as they deem appropriate.

If you are interested in connecting with someone who has similar experiences to yours, then join our Peer Support Network by contacting support@epilepsyniagara.org or calling us at 905-353-1096.
