Hot Sidewalks
In hot weather, there is a risk of burn injury from falling onto sidewalks and asphalt during seizures. If help is not available, prolonged contact with asphalt or concrete surfaces in parking lots and streets during a seizure can produce serious burns. - If you experience frequent or unpredictable seizures, cover up during very hot days.
- To those giving first aid: Don't leave persons lying on hot pavement.
