Epilepsy Halton
We are very excited to announce the launch of an Epilepsy Ontario chapter to serve Halton region. Located in Oakville, this unit is already active in planning and providing services to its community. Our new Unit Coordinator is Maria DiDanieli. Maria has several years of experience in working with epilepsy patients and their families in a clinical setting and she is very happy to now have the opportunity to educate her community regarding seizure disorders as well as provide resources counseling and organize support networks for epilepsy patients in Halton Region.
Please take a few moments to learn more about what people who live with epilepsy can accomplish and how we can help them reach their goals. Join Epilepsy Ontario in promoting awareness about living with seizure disorders.
Support Group Meetings
We will be holding Support Group Meetings on the 4th Monday of each month, beginning in May 2007, from 7:00-8:00 at Knox Presbyterian Church in Oakville. The address of the church is 89 Dunn Street, Oakville, ON (Lakeshore and Dunn). We will be in Room 5.
