Elisa's Camino Walk for Epilepsy Ontario
In late April, Elisa, a board member with Epilepsy Ontario will begin a 5 week long, 780 km trek along the El Camino de Santiago, a pilgrimage which dates back to the Middle Ages. The Camino starts on the French side of the Pyrenees, crosses over the mountains and then extends across the north of Spain to the town of Santiago Compostela.

Elisa is dedicating this walk to the thousands of people across Ontario living with epilepsy and other seizure disorders and their families.
"I have given my 780 km El Camino de Santiago walk a lot of thought over the years but I just knew that this was the right time in my life to do it. I heard the calling and somehow the time and financial means were made available. As I reflected on all the reasons I wanted to do it, one thing became clear to me, that this was also an opportunity to help others."
