Check your Prescriptions
People who are taking Lamictal® ( lamotrigine) to control seizures are urged to carefully check the name on the bottle every time their prescription is renewed. In the USA, there have been recent isolated cases of pharmacists who have misread prescriptions and dispensed Lamisil® (terbinafine HCL) instead of Lamictal® (lamotrigine).
Lamisil® is indicated for the treatment of fungal infections of the skin and nails.
