    Enhanced Driver's License, Enhanced Photo Cards and Travel to the U.S.

    Thornhill, Ontario - February 1, 2010

    As of June 1, 2009, the Western Hemispheric Travel Initiative (WHTI) requires Canadian citizens entering the United States by boat or motor vehicle to present a valid passport or approved secure document that establishes the bearer's identity and citizenship.

    Ontario residents living with Epilpesy who cannot obtain an Enhanced Driver's License can apply for an Enhanced Photo Card which is scheduled to be available in spring 2011 at ServiceOntario locations across the province.




    Phenobarbitol Shortage Due to Recall

    Thornhill, Ontario - December 9, 2009

    Patients might encounter difficulty filling prescriptions of Phenobarbitol at some pharmacies due to a recall of the drug. Pharmascience Inc, the Canadian distributor of Phenobarbital, announced a recall of the drug due to oversized tablets, dating back to June 2009.
